Have you ever had to give up a dream to pursue something less exciting, but more responsible? That’s what happened to Kela Holmes. In college, Kela had one dream: to become an opera singer. Despite her beautiful and powerful voice, however, financial restraints crushed her dream.

Instead, she signed up for the military. A different path, but one that she felt proud to take because she knew that she would be helping people.

Still, the dream was still there.

How Ford Made a Difference to Seniors This Thanksgiving
