The Edge's entry-level engine is altogether excellent. We dig this turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder not only for its performance ability -- overall output stands at 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque -- but its fantastic fuel economy, too.

This is especially true of front-drive models, as they should return 24 mpg combined (20 city/30 highway).
